hunter icc-800pl not working

we are in the dark! we just moved in and have no idea how to work the system since the old owners took the manual with them. We have read the panel and we just cant get the system to water. it allows us to go thru the stages but when its time to put the dial on run nothing happens though the timer start running down. What do we do?? we are desperate since the grass is actually drying up!! When we moved in the system was unplugged from the wall but we thought nothing of it. We know the system worked at some point!

please start us at 101 sprinkler system
thank you
the grass is almost dead!

Go here, and under the Controllers section, click on the ICC, there is your owners manual

That being said, I make sure the water main is on to your sprinkler system, and make sure if you have a backflow device, those valves are open as well. With water flowing, if the system still doesn't operate, I would probably consider calling in a contractor to further diagnose the system.
