Rain Bird RMX-1T remote

Rain Bird RMX-1T and Rain Bird RM-1R
I can’t seem to get this thing to work. Following the instructions from Rain Bird I have the keypad transmitter and \the receiver mated. The led flashes when I press the 3# access code. Then I hold down on/adv for a count of 1 like it says in their manual. The controller does not seem to be getting the signal to start. I have the ESP-12-LXplus and the receiver is RMX-1R.
Called rain bird numerous times and was getting hung-up on, very busy call volume for hours and days, when they finally answered the phone no one knew about the remote.
They took my Phone# and never heard from them. Any help Appreciated.

The Rain-Bird remote had many short commings, so your not alone. Most of their problems were with range and battery drain. This is one of the reasons RB quit making the rm-1 and the rmx-1 (plus they weren't big sellers either). I do know that they are in development of a newer version with much easier interface and programmability. I would look for the new version to be out mid to late spring 2007. Don't worry it should be backwards compatible with all previous controllers with remote ready. Give me a few days to research your problem and I will post my findings.
