New To Sprinkler System. Need to move Heads

I have a 25 year old Rainbird System. Most everything seems to work well. But I need to move some heads because they're no where near where the current needs are.

I dug up one head and see it attached to a hose, but I'm not sure how to extend the hose to the new area and reattach the head.

Can anyone explain what I need to know in order to be able to order the right parts to extend the various heads to new areas?

You can dig up the head and risor, remove the fitting it is attatched to and install a new type of fitting based on your needs. You will have to run a section of 1" or 3/4" poly pipe to the new area and then put an end elbow in with a risor and attatch the head. If you are only moving the head a few feet a swing set up would be better...
