Over a period of time, many Richdel and Irritrol valves' screws can loosen with the expansion and contraction of operation. An old diaphragm that has been compressed with age often leaks, usually under the solenoid area. Tighten the screws a bit, and if that doesn't do the job, replace the diaphragm. The squirting will undoubtedly cease....
