Toro PVB
I have a Toro PVB model 53300 and it frequently trips causing it to purge continuously until shut off and reset. It does this on a zone with mostly soaker hose and also when the city pressure drops due to water demands. Is the flow a big deal, the regular operating rate is around 9 gpm but drops to about 4 when theres alot of water usage; this models gpm range starts at 5, is that a big deal. I don't know where to start? The unit was new this spring and I had one at a previous home and never had issues.
Some PVBs are more pressure-sensitive than others. You might thread a pressure gauge into a testcock on the PVB, and note what pressures the problems occur at.
