Shrub irrigation

We're having our sprinkler expanded with new zones. One or two of them are going to be for bed areas. Most contractors are recommending using rotors or sprays in these areas, however, one wants to put in drip irrigation. They're using the type that is essentially a tube with holes every 12" - 16". No one else has suggested drip irrigation. I mentioned using a system with emitters to the company suggesting drip irrigation and they felt that it involved too much maintenance. I wanted to get some recommondations for bedding irrigation.

Id use the Spray Heads, they provide simple low to NO maintance work, and drip emmiters im not a fan ofbecause if they are not properly installed you have to constantly look to make sure that they are not clogged. Id go with the sprays. (i listed a further info post, on this somewhere else(im not quite sure where though <img src=icon_smile_blush.gif border=0 align=middle>
