Do all of the Rain Bird 15' spray heads really spray the same distance? I always feel like the HE-VAN and VAN heads don't spray as far.

The distance of the coverage will depend on the operating pressure at the hydrant's inlet. The optimum operating pressure between conventional spray hydrants will range between 25+/- and 30+/- PSI.
Partially clogged nozzles will loose coverage range, especially if they are short range (10' or less) and the water is non-potable water.
