Control Issues

I need to relocate a existing set of control valves (ancient) at my house.

I'm in S. Florida and running off of a well.

Ihave 6 and require 8 zones. Mixed sprinkler and drip system. Currently no filtration system installed. I will add one.

SprinklerWarehouse lists a couple of manifold/valve combos. HD manifold kit is about twice what Standard kit pricing is. What is the difference between the 2 from a reliability and longevity point of view? I'm leaning towards Hunter valves and 1" slip fittings.

If the Standard setup is adequate, I'd rather go with the standard and invest the extra money in a fertilization system.

Thanks in advance.
