I have an 1.5 acres with a house in the middle, can anybody suggest somebody to design the system?

Can you do it yourself?

Start by reading www.irrigationtutorials.com

That, along with some help around here, you can probably figure out things like number of zones and types of equipment. The only thing I find tricky is if you try to push the limits or have trickly layouts where it's difficult to determine head placement to avoid watering undesired areas.
