irritrol 205 series valves

I am having trouble with one zone and low pressure in my system. I have one valve that is stuck open and will not shut off. Ihave replaced the solenoid with no help. The second problem is the whole system loses pressure when only one zone is on. When the zone stuck open is manually shut off the system loses all pressure.

Take the bonnet off the valve. Something's keeping the valve from doing it's job. I've seen the older 205's metering pin rust keeping the diaphragm from opening or closing. I suggest having a diaphragm on hand. Perhaps just buy the whole valve for parts. They're fairly inexpensive. Good luck!
If I can't fix it, it's broken!
