Valve Boxes?

I'm going to get a system installed, and I keep hearing contradictory things on valve boxes. One guy said he'd install multiple valves in a 10" round, because the rectangular ones wouldn't support the weight of me and my lawn tractor.

What size valve boxes won't support approximately 1000 lbs of man and tractor?

Thanx,

Roofer

I have a 950 pound mower in my business, and I have never heard or had a problem with that. Also, I only use 10" valve boxes for 1 valve only.
Thanks,

You wont be able to fit, "multiple valves" in a 10" round valve box. i would use a
rectangluar one, so that everything is in one place, and put it in a garden, unless you
tracor through your garden [:-)] or someplace out of the way
