Bury ¼ inch drip irrigation hose
Would it be a mistake to bury 30 ft of ¼ inch drip irrigation hose 4 inches deep in a Minnesota climate? Im concerned about the freezing and thawing of the ground pinching the hose and making it unusable.
Don't bury drip. Bury regular pipe, and connect the drip to it. No shortcuts.
Read www.irrigationtutorials.com (look for the section on drip). He warns you about buried drip irrigation and critters that can chew into it.
Wet Boots is right.
Thanks for the advice. I was looking for the easy way out, which always causes problems later on. I was worried about the freezing and thawing of the ground, never thought about critters crewing on the hose. Im going to byte the bullet and do it the proper way.
Again thanks for the advice.
