12 or 24 volt DC valves and controllers

I am planning on installing an irrigation controller and valves which will be used for wildlife water holes on a ranch. It is over 3/4 mile to the neartest 110/220 AC power supply. Are there any 12 or 24 volt DC valves and controllers on the market??? If not, do you know of a reliable 12v DC to 110v AC inverter that can withstand an exterior (in a protective housing) installation at 100 degree temperatures that I can run with deep cycle 12V DC batteries and solar chargers?

I would suggest using the hunter svc. Its a 9v timer that you attach directly to the valves solenoid. The only difference is that you have to purchase hunter 9v latching solenoids. Its very easy and a really good product.
