The system you choose to install will last you 20 years, maybe even more. What kind of head you decide to install should be fit for your yard, and charateristics. Do you know your PSI, GPM? A little more info please? Thanks!

I assume you are installing the sprinkler system yourself???
Iam an irrigation contractor and i use the following items for my instllations here in NY, but it may be slightly different depending what is available in your town.

1. Rotors - The HUnter PGP (higher pressure) and T-BIRD(lower pressure, these heads are pressure sensative)
2. Sprays - Toro 570
3. Valves - Irritrol 2400T (they are so good, these are the only valves available here)
4. Controller - Hunter SRC
5. Oietker Clamps
6. 1" Pipes and Backflows

Have a contractor pull your poly pipe. It cuts down time, digging, and damage by (75%)

As far as exact type of sprinker heads, i need your GPM and PSI

I also agree to have a professional pull your pipe or if you want to do all of it yourself then rent a pipe puller. Digging long trenches is very difficult work even if the earth has been recently excavated.

There are lots of good products on the market and I think that rays list looks good.
