Grass over the sprinkler head issue

Does anyone know where I might obtain a device that will allow me to cut away the grass that grows over the top of my sprinkler heads?

I’ve typically used a plain old #303 “tin can” but after an hour or so of this, I find that I long for a device of some sort that will enable me to do the job much more efficiently.

I’m envisioning a cutting head of some sort (with teeth much like the drill bit used to cut a hole in a door for installation of the door hardware) with a long handle attached to it that will enable the work to be done quickly from a standing position.

Thanks,
Bill

By golly I believe you are absolutely correct! Outstanding, thanks!! I wish the website had a photo but even with just the description think it's worth a try so I'm going to give it a shot.

I appreciate your time,
Bill
