One zone stopped working ...
Greetings,
One of my Zones suddenly stopped working. According to the manuals of the systems it was suggested that I reset the controller just in case it was a controller issue. It seems it is a valve issue. Previous owners of house had no layouts or documentation regarding where the valves are. How do I find the valves, are there any special methods. Thank you very much for your help.

You might want to call your local sprinkler company and have them come locate your valves for you. They have a device that can track the wire underground that leads to the valve manifold. Also, walk around your yard and look for any valve boxes, since that's where the valves SHOULD be.
Any more questions feel free to ask.
Thanks!
Where would I be able to find the device myself. Is it a metal detector ... etc. As for the valve boxes I only found one I belive that the rest are either covered by soil or grass.

They are spendy devices..(5-600 dollars) and I would just spend the money to have them locate the valves for you.
