loss of pressure from water main
My system has worked fine for 2 years but now some lines do not spray as far as they use to. Nothing has changed in the water system to the house, or in the house or in the sprinkler system. I am thinking that it is a decrease in the pressure from the water main to the house. I do not know why this would be, it is not time of day dependent and I do not see any obvious changes in the neighborhood. I would like to fix this without major digging.
I have an idea that could make one line act like two lines so only some of them on the problem lines would work at a time. In this way the pressure would only have to drive half of the heads to help give the running ones more pressure. I was hoping this could be done today by putting a wifi control on each head to only turn half of them on at a time. I have not found such an item in searches of the internet, does someone know of such a device? I would need to be able to turn the two different sets of heads on and off at a given time to match the controller, linking that line into the controller twice, at times that were far enough apart for the heads to be swapped for off and on.
Any help would be appreciated. Thanks, Dave
