Motion-activated sensor

I would like to attach a motion detector to my irrigation system so that I can have the system turn on for a set period of time (5-10 sec) to deter the deer that are devastating my garden. I already have a ScareCrow but I would like to integrate something into my 7 head irrigation system. I'm using a Rain Bird ESP 6TM controller with only a couple of stations currently connected. There must be some way of getting the signal from a wireless motion sensor such as those sold by Heath Zenith and routing the signal in some fashion to trip the solenoid on the station. Has anyone tried this or know of someone who's done it successfully? I was thinking that I could somehow use the electronics of the ScareCrow as a starting point. Any help or comments would be appreciated. Bob

I have the same question. I'm thinking this might be a way to keep the rabbits off my lawns.
