adding a drip line

Hello I currently have a sprinkler system . I would like to add a drip line to my mulch areas . I currntly have a toro 2600 ez valve thats not being used . I was told by a fellow member to use a filter on the system . My water presure is currently at 42 psi .My question is can I use the valve I already have or do i need a special valve for the drip line also would I need special line from the valve .If theres anything else that I would need please to help me aid in adding this drip line to my existing system
