Valve boxes

I had a problem with my backyard last year and I dont want this spring when I put in the system in the front yard. Can I fit two rainbird 1'' Dv valves in a 10' round ametek box or are those for single valves only?

We suggest that you definitely use 1 round valve box per valve. This allows you room to work on the valve if servicing is required in the future. More importantly, if you pipe the valves so close together that they do fit into a single valve box, you will have problems in the future when it needs replaced and you do not have any pipe to reconnect to since you piped the valves so tight together.

<b>Trust me on this one...Do Not Try To Put 2 Valves into 1 Round Valve Box.</b>
Pipe the valves so that you have plenty of room to cut them out and replace them in the future. If you pay a service man to replace a valve that has been piped too tight to another valve, you will have to pay him to replace both valves.

Amen! Thank goodness some people have done that, keeps me in business. But seriously, use a Carson 1419 rectangular box if you want to jam more than one in a box.
