home-made valve box

I purchased two valve and 3 valve manifolds to replace the original 5 valve set-up. The new made up manifold will be quite a bit larger than the original, and will not fit within the existing box. New "Jumbo" boxes advertised show for use up to 4 valves. Has anyone constructed their own manifold box and can they share their methods?

Just use two standard boxes. Life will be simpler that way.
