Toro controller runs same program on manual

Hi, I'm trying out this Toro controller that came with the house we just moved into - I can program everything but when i tried to run each program manually the first program A ran fine but when i tried Program B it started up program A even though the switch was set to Program B and the indicator displayed program B info. any ideas?
