Maxi Paw sprinkler

Just purchased a how with sprinkler system. Fired up zones yesterday and found this sprinkler is not working properly. The impact head will not bounce off the stream of water. What do I check for?

Have a spare head and a service wrench, if you have a maxipaw system. Your problem might be as simple as debris caught in the impact arm.
