Test Valves

When I turn to test all valves on the ESP modular for the 2 minute test. Once they start the manual says to turn to the

auto position. I have 8 zones and it goes through all 8 zones with the test. However it does not shut off and goes back to

zone 1 and starts all over again and does not shut off. What is the problem.
