Residential Installation

I have a square lot, 48' x 36', and was wondering what the approximate price would be to install a sprinkler system. I got an estimate from a neighbor and it seemed really high ($1,500), since I was planning on doing all the work, so could someone give me a ball park estimate.

Whats your PSI and GPM? Service line size in your basement/curbbox?
