Sprinkler Heads

I'm in the initial stages of designing a sprinker system for my back yard, about one and a half acres. When all is said and done, with price not the main consideration, what are the best sprinkler heads? Who manufactures the BEST?

Both Hunter and Rain Bird make very good rotors and spray heads.

If you go with Rain Bird, make sure you use 1800 series sprays for smaller areas (less than 15 feet radius) and any of their rotor models except I tend to not like the T-Bird rotors because they do not seem to last as long as the other rotors.

If you go with Hunter, use the SRS or the Pro series sprays for areas under 15 feet radius, and use any of the rotor models except for the PGM series smaller rotor which does not seem to last as long as the others.

You can't go wrong with Hunter. Please let us know if you need any assistance determining which model products you should use. Hope to hear from you soon.
