leak w/ my Rain Bird ESP-8TM

I have a problem with station 8 on my rainbird ESP-8TM. When station 8 comes on the valve w/ 4 to 5 manufactored holes in the cap starts leaking water. I'm wondering if there is a clog in the pipe. The water started filling up in the inground green casing. any thoughts?????????????

There's a cracked valve or a cracked/broken pipe/fitting. A shovel would come in handy about now.
