Use of Extended Coverage standard response Sprinklers for Car Parking Risk

Dear Sir,
Can we use extended coverage standard response sprinkler to protect car parking, an ordinary hazard group 1 risk as per nfpa13 instead of normally used standard K5.6 upright or pendent sprinklers.

Parking area is in basement and the proposed risk is approximately 150,000 Sq. Ft. and has got flat ceiling bays of 5.5 (w) x 69.3 (l) x 4.0 (h) mtrs (minimum) and 9.0 (w) x 69.3 (l) x 4.0 (h) (maximum) segregated by 350mm deep beam.

Design spacing of and placing of sprinklers proposed / considered is baywise.
Reason of going with the above: - gives me wider coverage compare to normal K5.6 sprinklers and lesser amount of piping. - having nearly 7 bar pressure at tapping point. If yes then:- what will be minimum number of sprinklers required to be considered to satisfy design area requirement.- what will be criteria to decide minimum k factor of the sprinkler.- same sprinklers can be used for area’s having ac ducts. Finally your say best solution to protect car parking area. Awaiting your reply. Thanks & Regards,
