Hunter controller breaks 3 times in 3 years.

Possibly because of electrical interruptions. Even with a surge protector. What can we do?

Hunter controller breaks 3 times in 3 years.

We had to replace it each time. Electrical Short?

Hunter controller breaks 3 times in 3 years.

We've had a few recently. But the surge protector's light is still on meaning it's protecting (according to its brochure).
