Wilkins 420 or 720AA?

My current system has a wilkins 420 PVB but being a rookie with inground systems, I allowed it to freeze this past winter. I tried the rebuild kit butg no help then I found a crack in the casing.

My question is: can I replace the 420 with a 720A and be ok?

Sure, but the 720 is just as freeze-able
