Hunter Pro C programming

Have a Hunter Pro C control panel running 8 zones. Received my water bill today and it was over $400 bucks! The wife sat down and reviewed the manual and says that programs A and B are running simultaneously. Is this possible?????

All programs run simultaneously in that, and nearly every other controller. That's what they're there for.
