Pump trips breaker

Pump trips breaker

When my timer turns on, the relay to the pump activates, but after a few seconds the breaker trips. The pump does not start before the breaker trips. I have replaced the pressure switch, but still have the same problem. Does this indicate that the pump motor is bad? Any suggestions?
