Blowing out system - problem with PVB

I was blowing out my system and everything was going good until the Pressure Vacuum Breaker seemed to stop sealing up. Air just escapes there now and I can't get the rest of my lines blown out.

Any suggestions?

what kind of pressure vacuum breaker did you have? I know the good (expensive) ones do not do this, but the homedepot ones do, example: TORO. Iam assuming that the blowout tee is before the PVB. What kind do you have? You could unscrew the top and check that everything inside is lined up. Let us know!

Yes it is a Toro, I also checked to see if it was lined up.

Basically, the T was on the bottom, then the Spring was on that and the doughnut? was in the Spring.
