Just put in an orbit gear driven sprinkler # 55661 that delivers 3
gal. what does a impact sprinkler put out... in comparison.

You can change the nozzle size on an impact just like you can on your orbit. Typically they are preset at 2.5 gpm to 3 gpm

the "original" brass impact heads used 5/32-inch nozzles most of the time, putting out 4-5 gpm, depending on pressure
