Sounds of water filling under the irrigation system plate while not in use

There is a sounds of water filling in the container under the water irrigation panel. It just started this morning and the sprinklers last ran yesterday night. I am not sure if that is normal or not but it still hasn't stopped.

You may need to come back with photos, because your terminology doesn't make much sense.

Come on Boots, everyone knows a plate is the same thing as a panel. You know that valve box lid thing I've heard it called. And the container under it. GEESH! :D

Doit take the lid off. Look around. No it's not normal to hear water running when nothing is in use.
