Valve boxes

Last install I used a reciprocating saw to cut out holes for my water supply line and PE from each valve.

I see Orbit has a base with pre cut out holes. Is this the way to go or just cut up a standard box with my saw?

Pros cut slots, not holes. Boxes can always lift out that way.

Good. I cut "slots" last year - more like butchering, but this time I'll make nice cuts with my oscillating tool.

Thanks
