Two common wires to a controller?

Hi everyone.

I need to add a valve to a manifold. Instead of uncapping my current common wire bundle, can I use an unused wire, say brown, at the valve and at the controller attach this brown to the common screw? I'd like to avoid a greasy mess.

Yes no problem. You could also cut one of the common solenoid wires in half and splice it there instead of using the brown wire.
