Rainbird 42SA rotor

Hello,

Once the fixed left edge of this rotor sprinkler is set, can it be adjusted to move more to the left?

Rotate the entire head counter-clockwise on its fitting. You will need to readjust the right-stop if you adjust the left-stop.Head Adjustment

So just grab the shaft and physically turn it to the left then re-adjust the right stop with the set screw adjustment?

Only thing you can do.
Turn fixed side until it is good and then adjust the other side.
