TORO Custom 11 controller problem

I have a TORO Custom 11 controller, whose discharge line continues to discharge water constantly when the controller has completed a watering cycle. What is wrong, and how may the problem be corrected?

Be prepared to replace the controller. It could be repaired at the factory.

It might be time to consider replacing both controller and valves with modern electric ones.
