Start a pump for one zone only

I have a rain bird stp plus controllers, I have set up 2 zones, one for sprinklers and another one for dripping. I would like to know if it is possible to start the pump only for the sprinklers zone, probably connecting the pump relay to the sprinklers zone instead of the master valve connector.
Thanks for your help

You may not be able to run both a zone valve and a pump relay from the output of that controller.

A simple relay (24VAC coil with SPDT contacts) could be wired into the system
