Pump cracked twice

Pump cracked twice

I have a 2hp craftsman sprinkler pump, the back half where the 4 bolts go through cracked around the top two bolts and the brass bushing spun out of the impeller. I repaired it and the next day had the same issue. Any ideas on how to trouble shoot this?
