Sprinkler heads are coming up but there too low

I changed 2 valve heads, diaphragms and solenoids on my sprinkler system and it stopped my irrigation box from filling with water when the stations are on but now my sprinkler heads don't come up high enough. They spray a good stream of water but only come up about half to 3/4 of the way up causing them not to be able to cover the whole designed grass area with water..
