RainBird 5000 fixed left adjustment issue

Trying to adjust fixed left position on a RB5000, found it very difficult to rotate left, got a couple of hard clicks when attempting. Rotor now rotates 360 to the right with no effect from the arc adjustment screw. Did I likely break the rotor?

What is the best way to adjust fixed left on these? RB PDF manual is not very helpful for this...

Thanks for any assistance!

You do not adjust a fixed set point on any rotor. Start over with a new head, and give yourself some wiggle room to further tighten it, to get the left reversal point 'just right' - if the connection is to a PVC nipple, you might add some teflon tape to the threads before installing the head.
