Max Paw guts stuck in housing. How do I get out. The specified tool will not work

I am trying to take the sprinkler heat out of the maxi paw housing. I am using the specified tool but it seem that is stuck

the tool always works, but you have to clean out the dirt before it fits

Yep turn it harder.
I have three different tools like the one for the maxi-paw. I never need two of them but they exist.
Do you have the right tool?
