Sprinklers start at an unprogrammed time and then again at the programmed time

I have my sprinklers programmed to start at 5:00am. They start at about 12:45 am and run a ful cycle and then start again at the prescribed 5"00am start time.

Has anyone else encountered this and what do I do about it?

Thank you.

99% of the time there will be two start times programmed. Check the A B C programs for an extra start time.
If you don't find the problem reset the controller. Take out any back up batteries and unplug for a few minutes.

Thank you

There was only one start time set. I'll try to "reboot" technique and see if that works. I will report back results.
