rainbird esp-lx

The display window has gone blank. I have reset the box several times and still no display. I have turned the controller off and left it so for several minutes. The modules inside the box are blinking red.

Is the outlet the controller's plugged into working? Plug something else into it.

I have power to the unit, have tested with other connections. It was working fine yesterday.

From Rain Bird
Display is partially or completely blank.
An electrical surge or lightning strike has damaged the controller’s electronics.
Push the RESET BUTTON.
If the electrical surge did no permanent damage, the controller will accept
programming commands and function normally. If the controller does not operate
properly, contact Rain Bird Technical Assistance at 800-247-3782.
