Keeps blowing the 2A Fuse

Hello,

Well, I'm the new guy here and I'm glad I found this forum to ask about a problem. My Controller Model 1260i keeps the correct time & day, and cycles through the different Zones, but after a few hours, it blows the little 2A Fuse. After several incidents of replacing the fuse, I took the front cover off and noticed some very fine black powder right in the middle of the box underneath some of the gearing wheels. I am suspecting a motor getting too hot or a gear hanging up or something. Visually, everything looks fine with the gears and motors, so I am not sure what it going on.

Thanks for your thoughts!
