VALVES AND WIRING

WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN EDITOR AND SOURCE CODE?
I HAVE A RAIN BIRD ESP 6 SI UNIT WITH TWO STATIONS FOR ABOUT A MONTH NOW SOMETHING STRANGE IS HAPPENING
MANUALLY FROM THE UNIT ONLY ONE UNIT COMES ON. WE USE THEM ONLY MANUALLY.
THE OTHER ONE DID NOT COME ON EITHER FROM THE CONTROLLER OR PHYSICALLY TILL I REALISED THAT THE SOLENOID WAS REALLY TIGHT. I FORCED HARDER, AND THE WATER CAME ON THERE IS ALSO ONE WHITE COATED WIRE IN THE SECOND VALVE PIT WHICH IS BARE AND NOT CONNECTED. THE OTHER END IS IN THE GROUND

COUD YOU PLEASE ASSIST AND LET ME KNOW OF WHAT IS HAPPENING

THANK YOU

"HOW MUCH DO YOU CHARGE FOR QUESTIONS" Not a penny.
The white wire is probably your ground.
Every solenoid should have one control wire, usually some color, and one common wire, usually white.
If the are not both connected the solenoid won't respond.
Take a quick look at REPLACING IRRIGATION VALVES
The drawing at the bottom of the page will give you a good idea of wiring.
