hunter rotor wont,t rotate

hi everyone my third post well i got a nice system installed this past april many hunter popup rotors giving the yard a complete coverage but now i have a problem with one rotor it sprays but will not rotate i called the contractor who had them done and to no help so i guess i,m the one who has to figure it out from what i can see all i have to do is dig around it clear all dirt from around the cap unscrew it lift it out look inside for dirt clean it out put it back and thats it??? any other help needed would be great

That's pretty much it. Those are self-contained canisters inside so not much to work with . Unscrew, remove guts, rinse guts, rinse out body, re-assemble and test.
If that doesn't work rotor might be shot.

There's a video on youtube about cleaning a hunter pgp. It involves cleaning the filter. Never had much luck with cleaning a non-rotator. More often than not, it's gears bound up internally. Those you can't get at.
