pump start relay

Hello, my sprinkler pump will not turn on... timer shows as on....does count down, fuse was checked and is good...i suspect the pump relay, although it was replaced approx 18 months ago .... but i have had things go bad quicker.... i was wondering how i can by pass it ...temporarily of course...to make sure this is the problem...last time it was the only logical guess.. this time i am not so sure.... thanx !

I don't know that you could bypass it without hard wiring the pump to an on/off switch.
